- 3 cups self-raising flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon butter cold, cubed
Preheat your oven to 200°C (390°F).
In a mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt.
Add the butter and rub it into the flour mixture until it resembles breadcrumbs.
Gradually add the milk, mixing until a soft dough forms.
Turn the dough onto a floured surface and shape it into a round loaf.
Place the loaf on a baking tray and bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
