Ingredients

  • 12 oz spaghetti
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 24 oz marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large pot, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and cook until the onion is translucent.
  4. Stir in the marinara sauce, dried oregano, and dried basil. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked spaghetti with the sauce mixture. Toss until the spaghetti is well coated.
  6. Transfer the spaghetti mixture to a baking dish. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
