Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 large Onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 lb Ground beef
  • 1 cup Red wine
  • 1 can Crushed tomatoes 28 oz can
  • 2 tablespoon Tomato paste
  • 1 cup Beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Dried basil
  • 1 pinch Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions 

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped onion and cook until translucent.
  3. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  4. Add ground beef and cook until browned.
  5. Pour in red wine and let it simmer until reduced by half.
  6. Add crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, and beef broth. Stir well.
  7. Season with dried oregano, dried basil, salt, and pepper.
  8. Reduce heat to low and let it simmer for at least 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
