  • 1 cup Mushrooms sliced
  • ¼ cup Butter
  • ¼ cup Flour
  • 2 cups Chicken Broth
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
  • ½ teaspoon Black Pepper to taste

Instructions 

  1. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add flour and stir continuously for 2 minutes.
  3. Gradually whisk in chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  4. Add heavy cream, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
  5. Add chicken, peas, carrots, and mushrooms. Cook until heated through.
  6. Serve over rice, pasta, or toast.
