Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Chicken breasts boneless, skinless
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs Italian seasoned
  • 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 2 cups Marinara sauce
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  3. In a shallow dish, combine breadcrumbs and grated Parmesan cheese.
  4. Dip each chicken breast in olive oil, then coat with breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook chicken breasts until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  6. Transfer chicken to a baking dish. Top each piece with marinara sauce and shredded mozzarella cheese.
  7. Bake in preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, until chicken is cooked through and cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil if desired.
