Ingredients

  • 3 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Milk warm
  • 1 packet Active dry yeast
  • ¼ cup Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup Raisins
  • 2 tablespoon Butter melted

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. 2. Add sugar, salt, melted butter, and 2 cups of flour. Mix until smooth.
  3. 3. Gradually add the remaining flour and cinnamon. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes.
  4. 4. Fold in the raisins. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 1 hour.
  5. 5. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf. Place it in a greased loaf pan.
  6. 6. Bake for 40 minutes or until golden brown. Let it cool before slicing.
