- 1 cup cornmeal
- 4 cups water
- 1 teaspoon salt
Bring 3 cups of water to a boil in a saucepan.
In a bowl, mix cornmeal with the remaining 1 cup of cold water.
Slowly add the cornmeal mixture to the boiling water, stirring constantly.
Reduce heat to low and cook, stirring frequently, until thickened, about 15-20 minutes.
Season with salt and serve hot.
