Ingredients 

Pickling Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 2 cups white vinegar
  • ½ cup pickling salt
  • 4 cloves garlic peeled
  • 8 sprigs fresh dill
  • 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 1 teaspoon peppercorns
  • 1 teaspoon dill seeds
  • 2 pounds cucumbers small, whole

Instructions 

  1. In a large pot, combine water, vinegar, and pickling salt. Bring to a boil.
  2. Place garlic, dill, mustard seeds, peppercorns, and dill seeds into mason jars.
  3. Pack cucumbers into jars, leaving some space at the top.
  4. Pour hot brine over cucumbers, ensuring they are fully submerged.
  5. Seal jars and let cool to room temperature. Refrigerate for at least 48 hours before serving.
