Instructions
Peel and cut potatoes into thin strips.
Soak the potato strips in cold water for at least 30 minutes.
Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
Dry the potato strips with paper towels.
Fry the potatoes in batches for 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
Remove fries with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
Season with salt and serve immediately.
