Gorditas Ingredients
- 2 cups Masa harina
- 1.5 cups Warm water
- 0.5 teaspoon Salt
- 1 cup Refried beans for filling
- 1 cup Shredded cheese for filling
In a mixing bowl, combine masa harina, warm water, and salt. Mix until a dough forms.
Divide the dough into 8 equal portions and shape each into a ball. Flatten each ball into a thick disk.
Heat a griddle or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the gorditas for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
Slice each gordita open and fill with refried beans and shredded cheese. Serve warm.
