Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 3 tablespoon Vegetable oil
  • ¾ cup Warm water
  • 1 cup Refried beans
  • ½ cup Crumbled cheese (queso fresco or feta)
  • ½ cup Sour cream

Instructions 

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Add vegetable oil and warm water to the dry ingredients. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces and roll each piece into a ball.
  5. Flatten each ball into a thin circle using a rolling pin.
  6. Heat a skillet over medium heat. Cook each tortilla for about 1-2 minutes on each side until lightly browned.
  7. Spread refried beans on each tortilla, then top with crumbled cheese and sour cream.
  8. Fold the tortillas in half and serve warm.
