Honduran Baleadas Recipe
Baleadas are a traditional Honduran dish made with flour tortillas filled with refried beans, cheese, and other ingredients.

Main Ingredients
- 2 cups All-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking powder
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 3 tablespoon Vegetable oil
- ¾ cup Warm water
- 1 cup Refried beans
- ½ cup Crumbled cheese (queso fresco or feta)
- ½ cup Sour cream
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
Add vegetable oil and warm water to the dry ingredients. Mix until a dough forms.
Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces and roll each piece into a ball.
Flatten each ball into a thin circle using a rolling pin.
Heat a skillet over medium heat. Cook each tortilla for about 1-2 minutes on each side until lightly browned.
Spread refried beans on each tortilla, then top with crumbled cheese and sour cream.
Fold the tortillas in half and serve warm.
