Knoephla Soup Recipe

Dough
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup milk
Soup
- ¼ cup butter
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 2 large potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- to taste salt and pepper
In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt. Add eggs and milk, mix until dough forms.
Roll dough into small balls (knoephla).
In a large pot, melt butter and sauté onion until soft.
Add chicken broth and potatoes. Bring to a boil.
Add knoephla to the pot. Cook until potatoes and knoephla are tender.
Stir in heavy cream. Season with salt and pepper.
Simmer for 10 more minutes. Serve hot.
