Ingredients

  • 2 cups Elbow Macaroni
  • 2 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • ¼ cup Butter
  • ¼ cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 cups Milk
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Black Pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. 2. Cook macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. 3. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  4. 4. Gradually whisk in milk, and cook until thickened and bubbly.
  5. 5. Remove from heat and stir in cheese until melted. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. 6. Combine cheese sauce with cooked macaroni and mix well.
  7. 7. Pour macaroni and cheese into a baking dish. Bake for 20 minutes, until golden and bubbly.
