Ingredients

  • 1 lb Fresh fish (like tilapia or sea bass), diced
  • 1 cup Lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 Red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 Jalapeño, finely chopped seeded if you prefer less heat
  • 1 Cucumber, diced
  • 1 Tomato, diced
  • ¼ cup Cilantro, chopped
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced fish and lime juice. Ensure the fish is fully submerged in the lime juice. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to let the fish 'cook' in the lime juice.
  2. 2. After the fish has marinated, add the red onion, jalapeño, cucumber, tomato, and cilantro to the bowl. Mix well.
  3. 3. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately with tortilla chips or on tostadas.
