Monte Cristo Sandwich Recipe

- 4 slices Bread preferably white or brioche
- 2 slices Ham
- 2 slices Turkey
- 2 slices Swiss Cheese
- 2 Eggs beaten
- ¼ cup Milk
- 1 tablespoon Butter for frying
- 1 tablespoon Powdered Sugar optional, for dusting
- 1 tablespoon Jam optional, for serving
1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk.
2. Assemble the sandwiches by layering ham, turkey, and cheese between two slices of bread.
3. Dip each sandwich into the egg mixture, making sure to coat both sides.
4. Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat. Fry each sandwich until golden brown on both sides and the cheese is melted.
5. Optional: Dust with powdered sugar and serve with jam.
