Burger Patties
- 2 cups mushrooms, finely chopped
- 1 cup black beans, mashed
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- to taste  salt and pepper
- 2 tablespoon olive oil for cooking
- 1. In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and garlic, and sauté until soft. 
- 2. Add the chopped mushrooms to the skillet and cook until they release their moisture and become tender. 
- 3. In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked mushrooms, mashed black beans, breadcrumbs, soy sauce, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well. 
- 4. Form the mixture into 4 patties. 
- 5. In the same skillet, heat the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, until browned and cooked through.
