  • 1 bunch asparagus
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 clove garlic minced, optional
  • 1 lemon cut into wedges, optional

Instructions 

  1. Wash and trim the asparagus.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  3. Add asparagus and cook for 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally.
  4. Add garlic, if using, and cook for another 2 minutes.
  5. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Serve with lemon wedges, if desired.
