A traditional Cornish pasty recipe, perfect for a hearty meal.

Main Ingredients
- 500 g Beef diced
- 2 pcs Potatoes peeled and diced
- 1 pcs Onion chopped
- 1 cup Swede diced
- 500 g Shortcrust Pastry
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
- 1 pcs Egg beaten, for glaze
Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
In a mixing bowl, combine beef, potatoes, onion, swede, salt, and pepper.
Roll out the pastry and cut into circles.
Place a portion of the filling on one half of each pastry circle.
Brush the edges with beaten egg, fold over, and crimp to seal.
Place pasties on a baking sheet and brush with more beaten egg.
Bake for 60 minutes or until golden brown.
