  • 2 ¼ teaspoon Active Dry Yeast
  • 1 ½ cups Warm Water
  • 3 ½ cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water. Let it sit for 10 minutes until frothy.
  2. 2. Add flour, salt, and olive oil to the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. 3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes, until smooth and elastic.
  4. 4. Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.
  5. 5. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
  6. 6. Punch down the dough and divide it into two pieces. Roll each piece into a 12-inch circle.
  7. 7. Place the dough on a baking sheet and add your favorite toppings.
  8. 8. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
