  • 1 sheet Pie Crust store-bought or homemade
  • 6 Bacon Slices chopped
  • 1 cup Gruyère Cheese shredded
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 3 Eggs beaten
  • 1 pinch Nutmeg
  • to taste Salt and Pepper

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place pie crust in pie dish and set aside.
  3. Cook bacon in a skillet until crispy, then drain on paper towels.
  4. In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, cream, nutmeg, salt, and pepper.
  5. Spread bacon and cheese evenly over the pie crust.
  6. Pour egg mixture over bacon and cheese.
  7. Bake for 45 minutes, or until the quiche is set and golden brown.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.
