Quiche Lorraine Recipe

Main Ingredients
- 1 sheet Pie Crust store-bought or homemade
- 6  Bacon Slices chopped
- 1 cup Gruyère Cheese shredded
- 1 cup Heavy Cream
- 3 Eggs beaten
- 1 pinch Nutmeg
- to taste Salt and Pepper
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). 
- Place pie crust in pie dish and set aside. 
- Cook bacon in a skillet until crispy, then drain on paper towels. 
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, cream, nutmeg, salt, and pepper. 
- Spread bacon and cheese evenly over the pie crust. 
- Pour egg mixture over bacon and cheese. 
- Bake for 45 minutes, or until the quiche is set and golden brown. 
- Let cool slightly before serving.
