  • 2 cups Rye flour
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 packet Active dry yeast
  • 1 cup Warm water

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. 2. Add rye flour, all-purpose flour, salt, and olive oil to the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. 3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. 4. Place the dough in a greased loaf pan. Cover and let it rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes.
  5. 5. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake the bread for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. 6. Let the bread cool before slicing. Enjoy!
