Main Ingredients
- 1 lb Ground Beef
- 1 Onion, finely chopped
- 1 Egg
- ½ cup Breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- ¼ teaspoon Black Pepper
Gravy Ingredients
- 2 tablespoon Butter
- 1 Onion, sliced
- 1 cup Mushrooms, sliced
- 2 tablespoon All-purpose Flour
- 2 cup Beef Broth
In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, chopped onion, egg, breadcrumbs, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix well and form into patties.
Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the patties until browned on both sides. Remove from skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté sliced onions and mushrooms until tender.
Sprinkle flour over the onions and mushrooms, stirring to coat. Gradually add beef broth, stirring constantly until the gravy thickens.
Return the patties to the skillet, spooning gravy over them. Simmer for 15-20 minutes until the patties are cooked through.
