- 4 cups Thinly sliced potatoes
- 2 cups Milk
- 2 tablespoon Butter
- 2 tablespoon All-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 0.5 teaspoon Pepper
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour, salt, and pepper until smooth. Gradually add milk. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened.
Layer half of the potatoes in a greased 2-qt. baking dish. Top with half of the sauce. Repeat layers. Cover and bake for 45 minutes. Uncover; bake 10-15 minutes longer or until potatoes are tender.
