Shepherds Pie Recipe
A classic comfort food dish made with ground meat and mashed potatoes.

Main Ingredients
- 1 lb Ground Lamb
- 1 cup Carrots, diced
- 1 cup Peas
- 1 cup Corn
- 1 cup Onion, diced
- 2 tablespoon Tomato Paste
- 1 cup Beef Broth
- 2 tablespoon Flour
- 4 cups Mashed Potatoes
- to taste Salt and Pepper
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a skillet, cook ground lamb until browned. Drain fat.
Add onions, carrots, peas, and corn. Cook until vegetables are tender.
Stir in tomato paste and flour. Cook for 2 minutes.
Add beef broth, bring to a simmer. Cook until thickened.
Season with salt and pepper.
Transfer meat mixture to a baking dish. Spread mashed potatoes on top.
Bake for 20 minutes or until top is golden brown.
Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
