- 1 cup Cornmeal
- 1 cup All-purpose flour
- ¼ cup Sugar
- 1 tablespoon Baking powder
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- 1 cup Milk
- ¼ cup Vegetable oil
- 1 Egg beaten
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a skillet.
In a mixing bowl, combine cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
In another bowl, whisk together milk, vegetable oil, and beaten egg.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
Pour the batter into the prepared skillet. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
