  • 1 lb Chicken livers cleaned and trimmed
  • 1 cup Buttermilk
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 cup Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions 

  1. 1. Soak chicken livers in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes.
  2. 2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  3. 3. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  4. 4. Dredge the soaked livers in the flour mixture, coating well.
  5. 5. Fry the livers in batches until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  6. 6. Remove and drain on paper towels. Serve hot.
