- 4 Green Bell Peppers tops cut off and seeds removed
- 1 lb Ground Beef
- 1 cup Cooked Rice
- 1 Onion chopped
- 1 cup Tomato Sauce
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- ½ teaspoon Black Pepper
- 1 cup Shredded Cheese optional
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, cooked rice, chopped onion, tomato sauce, salt, and black pepper.
Stuff each green bell pepper with the beef mixture and place them in a baking dish.
Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes.
If using, sprinkle shredded cheese on top of each pepper and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
