Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 4 Bolillo rolls
  • 2 cups Shredded chicken
  • 1 Avocado, sliced
  • 1 cup Refried beans
  • 1 cup Shredded lettuce
  • 1 Tomato, sliced
  • ½ cup Queso fresco, crumbled
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. Preheat your grill pan over medium heat.
  2. 2. Slice the bolillo rolls in half and spread a layer of refried beans on the bottom half of each roll.
  3. 3. Top the beans with shredded chicken, avocado slices, shredded lettuce, tomato slices, and crumbled queso fresco.
  4. 4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. 5. Place the top half of the roll on each sandwich and press down gently.
  6. 6. Grill the tortas on the preheated grill pan for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the bread is toasted and the filling is heated through.
  7. 7. Serve immediately and enjoy!
