- 2 tablespoon Butter
- 2 tablespoon All-purpose flour
- 1 cup Milk
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 cups Sharp cheddar cheese, grated
- 4 slices Bread, toasted
Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
Whisk in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes.
Gradually add the milk, whisking constantly until the mixture thickens.
Stir in the mustard and Worcestershire sauce.
Add the grated cheese and stir until melted and smooth.
Pour the cheese sauce over the toasted bread slices and serve immediately.
