Main Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1 medium Onion, diced
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 lb Chicken Breast, cooked and shredded
- 2 cups Chicken Broth
- 2 cans Great Northern Beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can Green Chilies, chopped
- 1 teaspoon Cumin
- 1 teaspoon Oregano
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- ½ teaspoon Black Pepper
- ½ cup Sour Cream
- ½ cup Heavy Cream
Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add diced onion and cook until translucent.
Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
Add shredded chicken, chicken broth, beans, green chilies, cumin, oregano, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
Stir in sour cream and heavy cream. Cook for another 5 minutes.
Serve hot, garnished with your favorite toppings.
