- 1 can black beans drained and rinsed
- ½ cup breadcrumbs
- ¼ cup onion finely chopped
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 egg egg beaten
- 2 tablespoon olive oil for cooking
1. In a food processor, pulse the black beans until slightly mashed.
2. Transfer the beans to a bowl and add breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, chili powder, cumin, and the beaten egg. Mix well.
3. Form the mixture into 4 patties.
4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 5 minutes on each side, or until browned and cooked through.
