Hamburger Steak with Onions and Gravy

Main Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 egg
- ¼ cup bread crumbs
- 1 onion, chopped
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoon vegetable oil
Gravy Ingredients
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
In a bowl, mix ground beef, egg, bread crumbs, chopped onion, salt, and pepper. Shape into patties.
Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook patties until browned on both sides. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, add sliced onions and cook until tender. Stir in flour and cook for a minute.
Gradually add beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, stirring constantly. Bring to a simmer.
Return patties to the skillet. Simmer for 15 minutes, until patties are cooked through and gravy has thickened.
