Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups Fresh Basil Leaves
  • ½ cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • ½ cup Olive Oil
  • cup Pine Nuts
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Black Pepper freshly ground

Instructions 

  1. 1. Combine basil, garlic, and pine nuts in a food processor and pulse until coarsely chopped.
  2. 2. Add Parmesan cheese and pulse a few times more.
  3. 3. Slowly add olive oil in a constant stream while the food processor is on. Stop to scrape down the sides with a rubber spatula.
  4. 4. Add salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
  5. 5. Transfer the pesto sauce to a bowl and cover with plastic wrap until ready to serve.
