Pesto Sauce Recipe
Classic Italian pesto sauce made with fresh basil, garlic, pine nuts, Parmesan cheese, and olive oil.

- 2 cups Fresh Basil Leaves
- ½ cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
- ½ cup Olive Oil
- ⅓ cup Pine Nuts
- 3 cloves Garlic minced
- ¼ teaspoon Salt
- ¼ teaspoon Black Pepper freshly ground
1. Combine basil, garlic, and pine nuts in a food processor and pulse until coarsely chopped.
2. Add Parmesan cheese and pulse a few times more.
3. Slowly add olive oil in a constant stream while the food processor is on. Stop to scrape down the sides with a rubber spatula.
4. Add salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
5. Transfer the pesto sauce to a bowl and cover with plastic wrap until ready to serve.
