- 3 pounds corned beef brisket with spice packet
- 1 large onion quartered
- 4 cups water
- 6 large carrots peeled and cut into chunks
- 10 small red potatoes halved
- 1 head cabbage cut into wedges
Place corned beef brisket into a slow cooker, fat side up.
Add the spice packet, onion, and water.
Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.
Add carrots and potatoes halfway through cooking.
Add cabbage during the last hour of cooking.
Remove meat and let rest for 15 minutes before slicing.
